Comfortable in winter and summer
Our Chalet in Tauplitz is located in the small village of Tauplitz, in the Styrian Alps, at the foot of the imposing Grimming. It is a solid wooden, detached chalet with a covered terrace, a surrounding garden and a sauna behind the house.
We enjoy our Chalet several times a year with family and friends, but we also offer it for rent.
Activities
A beautiful part of the Austrian Alps with plenty to do and experience, both in summer and winter. In addition to the obvious winter sport activities, in summer you can walk, hike or cycle in the forests and across mountains, climb, play tennis, golf, swim in one of the beautiful mountain lakes, local swimming pool or visit an idyllic village in the area.
Tennis
Play tennis with family and friends in the fresh mountain air. Our house lies next to the village tennis club with two clay courts with the most amazing view on the Grimming.
Tauplitz-alm
The biggest lake plateau in Central Europe, with breathtaking panoramic views. Hiking routes and easy walks alongside six lakes. Feelings of freedom included while enyoing a lunch or drink on the alm.
Mountain lakes
Tauplitz lies within the Salzkammergut region famous for summer activities like swimming in one of the many mountain lakes, water cycling, surfing, diving, canoeing and fishing.
Ski area
Tauplitz has a beautiful family ski area with 43km of well-prepared slopes. Thanks to its favorable geographical location, Tauplitz is one of the snowiest areas in the Alps.

Open fully equiped kitchen, large dining table, fireplace, 4 double bedrooms, 1 bunk bedroom, 3 bathrooms, 4 toilets and multiple seating area’s make the house suitable for one or two families with a maximum of 12 people.

A well equipped kitchen to enjoy cooking and having dinner with family and friends while listening to music over the wireless Sonos system at the fireplace. Or enjoy a night of binge watching series on the comfortable couch.Outside you will find a covered terrace with nice views, a garden and sauna to complete your stay.

Small village, great views and direct access to forest and mountain. 10-minute walk to the village center were you will find amongst others a bakery, small supermarket, outdoor shop, bars, restaurants and the chairlift to the Tauplitzalm.
